Motorsports with an
Open Attitude.
Data-driven builds, open-source tools, and honest coverage of what actually works at the track.
Who We Are
Racing is better when you share what you learn.
OSMS (OpenSource MotorSports) is my attempt to document the build, the data, and the thinking behind it — in public. I'm not a professional driver or a sponsored team. I'm an engineer and a dad who got hooked on track days and decided to chase the data instead of just the lap times.
Every build decision, every data log, every part that failed spectacularly — it's all here. The goal: make motorsports more accessible to people who want to understand it, not just watch it.
At the Track
Data Logging
Racebox GPS, custom ESP32 sensors, and real analysis of what the numbers mean at the limit.
Open Hardware
Custom ESP32 telemetry, 3D-printed parts, and everything documented and open for replication.
Honest Writing
No PR fluff. What broke, what worked, what it cost, and what I'd do differently.
